Heavy Rains

Our area has been faced with heavy rains this week.  There has been standing water in the roadways and surrounding areas. When weather changes occur like this, homeowners must keep an eye on their home.

This home was effected by a sump pump failure.  The sump pump could not keep up with the amount of rain that was falling. High winds and rain can cause many losses like this. It causes the sump pumps to over work.  

The customer was awaken one morning to 4- 5 inches of standing water in his basement . He called his local plumber . The plumber came out and fixed the underlying issues. Our crews were then called in for clean up and remediation.

Our crews extracted the carpet, pad and uncarpeted area. We then removed carpet and pad from the basement. The carpet and pad had to be removed due to the smell from the water coming out of the sump pump. Our crews removed debris . They then set up dehumidifiers and fans to properly dry out the area.
